The IW-VJ63L is the largest sealed in-wall speaker in ELAC's Vertex III series, which combines the look of an architectural speaker with the performance of ELAC's Vela line. It is a 2 1/2-way sealed design with ELAC's JET folded ribbon (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter and two 6-inch active and four 6-inch passive Crystal Aluminum Sandwich Cones. Sold each.
ELAC says its custom aluminum dog legs ensure no vibration once the speaker is mounted in the wall, and a removable painted wood baffle conceals all of the hardware. A paintable magnetic metal grille finishes the front, a cutout template and manual are included, and the Vertex III speakers share the same components across the series so they match sonically.
