The collaboration between storied German audio brand ELAC and Brooklyn-based clothing company Adsum seamlessly blends an uncompromising commitment to audio excellence with a distinctive design aesthetic, reflecting the dynamic pulse of city life. Much more than a logo slap or a colour flap, ELAC allowed Adsum to rebuild their design from the ground up. Their team developed custom speaker stands, magnetic removable screens, squared off the corners, developed their only pair of painted speakers, and included a custom controller and premium custom wiring. The result is a pair of compact speakers that sound as great as they look — just plug and play.

With a powerful built-in amplifier, the collaboration delivers outstanding sound in a small footprint. It offers a surprising number of connection options — USB Audio for your computer, HDMI eARC for your TV, Bluetooth aptX for flexible streaming, Phono Preamp for a turntable, Analog, and Optical Digital Inputs — making easy to add high-fidelity audio just about anywhere you need it.

Custom Woofer + XBass
A long excursion woofer with wide-rolled surround provides increased output for added bass extension. ConneX includes Elac’s proprietary XBass Enhancer, providing a better overall bass extension and output (can be turned off). For better lower frequency extension and to minimize ventilation noise, the bass reflex port on the DCB41 is directed to the rear, in an “S” configuration.

Custom Tweeter + Waveguide
A custom designed waveguide controls dispersion and directivity improving overall imaging and balance. Hear it all with your music, movies, and more.

USB Connection
Connect a USB cable from your Windows or Mac computer to the USB input on the DCB41, and you can enjoy high-resolution audio playback up to 96kHz 24-bit. The speakers’ volume can be controlled by the computer’s volume control.

TV with HDMI ARC
Connect the HDMI ARC output from your compatible television and your TV’s remote control will control the volume of the Debut Connex speakers. It's that easy.

Phono Preamp for Turntable
The switchable built-in phono pre-amp allows you to connect just about any turntable directly to the speakers using standard RCA cables. A ground screw is also included. Turn off if you prefer not to use.

aptX Bluetooth
Play back your favourite music or podcast from your phone, tablet or computer using Bluetooth. To ensure the best possible quality the DCB41’s feature aptX technology delivering true CD quality audio from compatible phones.

Designed to fit into your space and lifestyle, the compact design begins with a fingerprint-resistant white finish, alongside a new minimalist and magnetic grille design. Adsum has also literally elevated the design by giving each speaker their own custom one-piece bent metal speaker stand. The bundled remote and collectible tote bag round out the package.
